It is important not only in reducing urban heat island effect, noise, air pollution, and improving environment quality, but also an index to evaluate if a developing country promoting its global competitiveness or heading toward developed country. The most important instance of urban forest is so called urban park. There are three special characteristics in urban park including broad area, forest diversity, and higher accessibility. The conscious of environment protection and leisure recreation are raised highly nowadays. City resident urge a green place to meditation, relax, and improve their life quality. So it is helpful to set an urban park for people associating, socializing, playing, and resting. The ratio of green park area by per person is a sustainable development index of city life quality. Chasing the quantities of urban park is inadequacy. It can not represent the real park distribution in a city. The location and integrity of urban park are key determinators for its services and ecological effects. As a planner we must consider effectively the location of urban park, promoting its accessibility. The park will be linked point by point to forming a well green ecological net. The researcher uses literature review to center on the classification, function, accessibility, and service of urban park. Comparing the different methodology of researches in accessing services quality, the researcher wishes to find a proper methodology with suitable classification for future research.
