案例特点： 结合学校运动会，用情态动词谈论自己运动方面的特长并完成运动会报名任务。
教学内容：
(1) Learn the new words about sports events.
(2) Learning how to express what sport you can do.
(3) Learning how to fill in an entry form.
教学目标：能用情态动词就体育项目谈论自己的爱好、特长，能与不能，并完成运动会的报名任务。
教学步骤：
Step 1. Lead in（导入）
Teacher asks and students answer.
Do you like sports? What sports do you like to do?
Step 2. Presentation（呈现并教授新）
Present and teach the new words about some sports, using “Can you…?”（使用句型“Can you…?”呈现新单词）
100-meter race, 200-meter run, 400-meter run, 800-meter run, 1500-meter run, 3000
