A: This is a very interesting question. I my opinion, love is the most selfish emotion that exists.. Many people are, when in love, eager to spend every minute with their lover. Therefore, they are most likely to control their partners time-management in order to get what they want. . However, this is a very controversial subject so I would like to hear what my classmate/college thinks about this question. B: Thank you, A. Though, you have made an interesting point. I still disagree on this issue. I considers someone in love to be very altruistic. How many husbands works day and night to provide their families comforts? How many wives stays up all night to accompany their husbands? Well, a lot I dear to say. If you really love someone, you will put their interests and needs before your own. There are, of course exceptions but the majority is being absolutely unselfish. C: Your argument is strong. It made me realise that their is unselfish love. For instance the love of parents towards their children. No doubt that parents always want the best for their kind. Also, parents pay for child does not seek anything in return. They always hope their children having a good . D: I am very glad to hear such a lively discussion. I am glad you agree with me. I think love is unselfish, we need to pay both sides. I think that we can safely conclude that love can be both selfish and altruistic. It all depends the purity of ones love. 2. Is it most important to marry for love or are there other reasons to marry? A: Although I am a solid believer in love and eternity. I can not deny the fact that many couple are united by different reasons than love. Money is definitely a huge factor determined whether or not to marry someone. But, for marriage is concerned, I believe that love is a very important factor.
