 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 8 152 cases of elderly cataract phacoemulsification Clinical Study 【Abstract】 Objective To observe the elderly cataract patients, systemic disease, preoperative and postoperative visual acuity, postoperative complications and so on. Choose over 70 years old, after clinical examination in line with 152 cases of patients with surgical conditions, be phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation, and promptly correct handling of postoperative complications. Results After 3 to 12 months follow-up, visual acuity in most patients recovered well. Vision “0.05 and” 0.3 in 14 cases, accounting for 9.2%; “0.3 in 135 cases, accounting for 88.8%. Conclusion elderly patients due to systemic disease, and pathophysiology of age-related changes in eye surgery there are certain risks, but as long as all aspects of response to well and measures are in place, can still take an active operation.
