 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 14 Abdominal compartment syndrome in 22 cases 【Abstract】 Objective To understand the abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS), the characteristics and clinical manifestations of disease, explore. Method January 2001 ~ November 2004 patients with ACS admitted to 22 cases, including 19 males and 3 females. 11 cases of severe acute pancreatitis, intra-abdominal infection in 7 cases, 3 cases of retroperitoneal hematoma, intra-abdominal tumor in 1 case. Determination of bladder pressure weregt; 24cmH2O (1cmH2O = 0.098kPa). With conservative treatment alone, 7 cases treated by surgery in 15 cases. Conservative treatment using an open airway, breathing machine support 18 cases, 12 cases of bedside continuous blood purification, B-ultrasonography or CT-guided drainage of abdominal puncture in 8 cases. Bank of China laparotomy surgery, abdominal and retroperitoneal drainage, incision suture in 5 cases, abdominal exploration drainage incision suture using polypropylene mesh covering 10 cases of peritoneal temporarily open. Results cured 17 cases, 5 cases died. Conclusion critically ill surgical patients with ACS complicated by a high fatality rate, timely diagnosis and to take effective measures to intra-abdominal decompression and joint multi-organ function support help to improve the prognosis of patients.
