8B Unit8Reading ( 1 ) 教学设计 Teaching aims: Knowledge: Learn some new words and try to master the usage of such words: separate, allow, punish, depend, wisely, produce, difference… Try to understand the text and learn about something about the actions about how to protect the environment in Switzerland. Skills: Learn to guess the meanings of words according to the context. Try to learn the main idea of the text according to the pictures and the title. Affection, Attitude and Cultural Awareness: Encourage students to protect the environment Teaching aids: text CD , electronic interactive whiteboard Teaching methods: Task-basic Approach Teaching procedures: Step One Lead in 1.Review something about the last class, have communication with ss about “green life” lead the ss to discuss the environment. 2.Then the teacher shows pictures about Switzerland T: What do you know about this country ? S: It is a beautiful country with high mountains and clean blue lakes T: Kitty’s online friend Martina is a middle school student in Switzerland. She’s writing in her blog on World Environment Day. Let’s read her article to find out more information. 引出话题,并板书生词Switzerland 【设计意图】以旧带新,从学生熟悉的东西入口,既复习了第一课时的相关内容同时又自然引出本课话题和相关生词。 Step Two Presentation T: When is World Environment Day? Ask ss to read the text quickly and tell the answers. present the new words and phrases(利用相关图片呈现生词和词组,使用淡入功能呈现). 2. Finish B1 ,then check the answers in class ( Ask ss to guess the meaning of the words according to the context.) 3. Review the new words and phrases quickly 整体呈现与Reading相关所有生词,采用隐藏功能遮盖单词的中文或英文让学生迅速说出相关信息。 设计意图】巩固生词为接下来的课文阅读扫除障碍。 Step Three Pre- reading Ask ss to close their books and watch the video and try to get some information , then finish B2 【设计意图】通过视听,整体感知课文,既培养了听力同时又整体感知了课文,为下面的阅读打好铺垫。 Step Four While-reading 1.
