Methods 23 cases with cardiac carcinoma at stage Ⅲ were given left gastric arterial infusion chemotherapy (100mg of Cisplatin + 1000mg of Fluorouracil + 50mg of Pirarubicin ), and 3 to 4 weeks later, cardiac carcinoma resections were performed.Results The clinical symptoms were relieved after the arterial infusion chemotherapy, no obvious edema and adhesion in local tissues were found during the operation; all the patients discharged from hospital with good recovery after operation.Conclusion It is of good effect to perform resections 3 to 4 weeks after arterial infusion chemotherapy for patients with cardiac carcinoma at stage Ⅲ.
