Methods: 44 patients with 62 knee osteoarthritis OK arthroscopic debridement. Results: The follow-up 2 ~ 2.5 years. Therapeutic effects were assessed at different time period, after 0.5 years, 1 year and 2 years of excellent rates were 85.5% (53/62), 77.4% (48/62), 66.1% (41/62). Conclusions: Arthroscopic debridement can effectively ease the symptoms of patients with joint pain and swelling, slow down the process of cartilage degeneration, but the effect decreases with time. Methods Forty-four cases (62 joints) were performed with arthroscopic debridement. Results All the patients were followed up for 2-2.5 years. Clinical outcomes were evaluated during the different period. The rate of the excellent and good results was 85.5% (53/62) at six months, 77.4% (48/62) at one year and 66.1% (41/62) at two years. Conclusion The symptoms of swell and pain on patients’ joints were relaxed effectively and the procedure of the articular cartilage degeneration could be delayed with using arthroscopic debridement, but the curative effects could be down as time went on.
