Methods 40 Balb / c mice were randomly divided into blank group, model group, asiaticoside 5,15,45 mg * kg-15 group, n = 8. LPS (2.5 mg * kg-1) tracheal infusion of acute lung injury model created, 24 h after the mice were killed by Western blot detection of lung tissue HO-1 protein expression, ELISA assay of plasma IL-10 expression. Results asiaticoside each dose group in a dose-dependent increase in lung tissue of LPS-induced acute lung injury model of HO-1 protein and IL-10 expression. Conclusion asiaticoside protective effect on LPS-induced acute lung injury may be related to the promotion of HO-1 expression and IL-10 related to the content. Model of ALI was established by intratracheal instillation of LPS 20 μ l (2.5 mg * kg-1). Mice were killed 24 h later, and HO-1 protein of lung was detected by western - blot. The content of IL-10 in plasma was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbentassay (ELISA). ResultsAS could increase the contents of HO-1 of lung and IL-10 in plasma in adose-dependent manner.ConclusionAS has protective effect on ALI induced by LPS and the mechansim may be related with increasing the coutents of HO-1 of lung and IL-10 in plasma.
