Methods: Traditional Chinese Medicine Tui Huang external lotion to 29.6 g and 7.4 g crude drug / kg (for the clinical dose of 40 times and 10 times) to guinea pigs, respectively for single and multiple integrity of the skin and damage the skin irritation test, measured after administration guinea pig body weight, observed signs of the appearance, behavior activity, eating, excretion and so the general situation, and make the skin area affected by drugs histopathological examination. Results: The traditional Chinese medicine outside the lotion Tuihuang high-and low-dose group of single or multiple contact with guinea pigs, signs of its appearance, behavior activity, body weight and histopathological examination of skin and blank control group, no significant difference. Conclusion: This product is no short-term irritant in guinea pigs, indicating that the proposed clinical dose used for partial or total skin is safe. [Keywords:] traditional Chinese medicine Tuihuang outside the lotion; skin delivery; irritation test; guinea pig [Abstract] Obtective: To observe the reaction to Chinese herbal jaundice-abating lotion applied on Guinea pigs’skin which was developed by the first people hospital for infant external use.Methods: The healthy skin and the wounded skin of the Guinea pigs were treated with Chinese herbal jaundice-abating lotion with the doses of 29.6 g and 7.4 g raw materials / kg (40 and 10 times that of the practical use), respectively. What were undertaken after the above treatments was the weighing of guinea pigs and a series of regular records of guinea pigs, such as physical signs, activities, eating and the
