Methods: Single condensation method was employed to prepare microcapsules. Using Orthogonal Design Method to optimize the preparation technique by using encapsulation rate, particle size and shape as evaluating index. Results: The optimized technique: gelatin concentration 40%, pH4, temperature 40 , ratio of plasticizer and gelatin 0.25. Conclusion: Clarithromycin microcapsules produced from the excellent technique had good repeatability. And the taste for the resulted product has also been improved greatly.
