Conclusion primary angle-closure glaucoma in the continuous high intraocular pressure, such as drugs can not control, should take decisive surgical treatment of complex trabeculectomy is safe and effective. All patients were fellowed up for 6 ~ 15 months.Results No complications of epichoroidal hemorrhage or malignant glaucoma happened in all cases after operation. The postoperative IOP was 10 ~ 21mm Hg in 15 eyes and 2 eyes needed additional medical treatment after 6 ~ 15 months. The successful rate was 78.9%. Conclusion Once IOP cannot be controlled, surgical treatment should be undertaken at once. It is necessary and safe and effective to perform the compound trabeculectomy on primary angle closure glaucom
