Conclusions: MUC5AC cytokeratin 7 and p63 and PCNA in the adult characteristic conjunctival epithelial cells can be speculated that the expression of the conjunctiva with the differentiation potential of stem cells exist in the eyelid skin and mucous membranes at the junction and near the deep limbal conjunctival epithelial cells. HE immunohistochemical staining were performed to observe the expression and distribution of MUC5AC, keratin 7, p63 and PCNA.RESULTS: PCNA and p63 staining showed similar expression pattern, mainly in the deep layer nucleus of palpebral mucocutaneous junction and limbal region.
