Methods: The records of 98 patients with complete data convergence insufficiency exotropia were divided into two groups, A group (49 cases in order to weaken the lateral rectus muscle surgery based design, B group (49 cases mainly designed to strengthen the medial rectus muscle surgery, and was regularly followed up after 1a, the efficacy analysis. Results: The overall rate of postoperative anteroposterior 1a was 88%. A group was 86%, B group and 90% cure rate difference between the two groups was not significant. after the collection of feature comparison, a collection of nearly point between the two groups was significantly (P lt;0.05). Conclusion: with intermittent exotropia to strengthen or weaken the lateral rectus muscle medial rectus muscle surgery based, can achieve better results. to strengthen the main operations within the rectus muscle, and better functional recovery after collection. METHODS: Ninety eight recorded patients with convergence insufficiency intermittent exotropia were categorized into two groups. Group A was with the operations based on weakening procedure of the abductor oculi, group B with strengthening procedure of adducens oculi.Curative effects were analyzed in one year s regular follow up examinations.RESULTS: One year after surgery, the total correction rale was 88%, 86% in group A and 90% in group B.
