 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 5 Corrective measures with the condition the input method to calculate dose of 131I [Abstract] Objective To probe the kind of easy to operate, scientific, easy to quantify, individual-oriented 131I input method to improve the cure rate of hyperthyroidism, and to reduce the incidence of hypothyroidism. Methods in March 1999 ~ September 1999, a total of 140 cases of patients treated with 131I were randomly divided into A, B groups, A group of 67 patients with the use of adjusted-dose formula (131I inputs (μ ci) = program administration (μ ci) (per gram of thyroid tissue) * Thyroid Weight (g) / the maximum iodide uptake rate), B group of 73 cases of illness using the formula and use law as a corrective measure measurement inputs and observe the condition changes in 5 years. Results A group of a cure was 62 cases (92.53%), early-onset hypothyroidism in 9 cases (13.43%), late-onset hypothyroidism in 21 cases (31.34%), permanent hypothyroidism in 8 cases (12.69%); B group once a cured 70 cases (95.89%), early-onset hypothyroidism in 2 cases (2.73%), late-onset hypothyroidism in 7 cases (9.58%), permanent hypothyroidism in 2 cases (2.73%). Conclusions The measurement condition correction method in 131I treatment of hyperthyroidism, the cure rate is relatively improved, but significantly reduced the incidence of hypothyroidism, and easy to operate, the individual-oriented and easy to quantify.
