Methods hospital from May 1997 to May 2007 were treated 20 cases of delayed gastric emptying after abdominal surgery patients, 15 of them regular fasting, gastrointestinal decompression, parenteral nutrition (TPN), used to promote gastrointestinal motility drugs and other methods, conservative treatment, 5 cases of patients 2 weeks after conservative treatment without significant improvement in symptoms of active sexual activity laparotomy, loosen adhesions, jejunostomy and other treatment. Results 15 cases of conservative treatment and 5 cases of surgical treatment of functional delayed gastric emptying in patients with both symptoms were followed up for six months, no recurrence of symptoms of gastric emptying.
