Double-strand break repair gene rad52 rs11226 polymorphism associated with Meta-analysis of cancer susceptibility

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 14 Double-strand break repair gene rad52 rs11226 polymorphism associated with Meta-analysis of cancer susceptibility [Abstract] Objective Evaluation rad52 rs11226 (Cgt; T and the associated cancer risk. Methods comprehensive literature search for single nucleotide polymorphisms associated with tumor rad52 rs11226 case-control study Meta-analysis, and the tumor types and population subgroups. Results included a total of 7 Meta analysis of the literature, the cumulative cases of 5915 patients were 10 992 cases. rad52 C allele relative to the T allele leads to tumor incidence OR = 0.94 (95 % CI :0.86-1 .04, P = 0.24, the difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion There is no evidence that rad52 rs11226 (Cgt; T polymorphism is associated with cancer susceptibility, but further investigate the genetic interaction between genes and environment . [Keywords:] meta analysis (subject, genes, cancer, polymorphism, single nucleotide ABSTRACT: Objective To evaluate the association between genetic polymorphism of rad52 rs11226 and cancer risk. Methods A comprehensive search was conducted to identify all case control studies of the relationship between polymorphism of rad52 rs11226 and cancer risk by meta analysis. Two subgroups were studied in terms of cancer type and ethnicity. Results Seven eligible reports were identified, concerning 5 915 cancer cases and 10 992 controls. The pooled OR of C allele compared with that of T allele was 0.94 (95% CI: 0.86 1.04, P = 0.24). No association between rad52 rs11226 allele and cancer risk was found in both subgroups. Conclusion rad52 rs11226 allele may not be significantly associated with cancer. Further studies are needed to explore gene gene and gene environment interactions. KEY WORDS: meta analysis as topic; genes; neoplasms; polymorphism, single nucleotide Now cancer has become a serious threat to human diseases, environmental factors and their role of genetic factors lead to can
