Methods 26 clinical strains of E. Coli expressing ESBLs isolated from blood were collected. The genotypes of SHV, TEM, CTX M, PER, CTX M 2, AmpC and GES genes were analyzed by PCR and CTX M, TEM genotype were determined by DNA sequencing.Results There were 15 strains expressing blaCTX M gene and 11 strains expressing blaTEM gene among 26 strains.Conclusion Results shows that CTX M type and TEM type are predominant genotypes of ESBLs in E.coli strains isolated from local blood samples.
