Methods The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to observe the different extracts of Hypericum japonicum serum containing 2215 cell secretion of HBeAg and HBsAg in vivo. MTT technique used to observe the different extracts of Hypericum japonicum-containing serum on the proliferation of BEL-7404 hepatoma cells in vivo. Results When the drug-containing serum concentration of 5%, the total extract of Hypericum japonicum ethanol and n-butanol extract of HBeAg and HBsAg showed a good inhibitory rates were 34.84% and 57.95%, and 76.02% and 53.15% ( P amp;lt;0.05); when the drug-containing serum concentration of 20%, the ethyl acetate extract on HBeAg and HBsAg showed a better inhibitory rates were 79.79% and 57.22% (P amp;lt;0.05); water extract 3 serum containing different concentrations of HBeAg and HBsAg have a better inhibitory rates were 70% and 30% (P amp;lt;0.05). The extract of Hypericum japonicum liver cancer BEL-7404 cells have a certain degree of inhibition, the inhibition was clearly dose-effect relationship, when the drug-containing serum concentration of 20%, the total ethanol extract, ethyl acetate extract , n-butanol extract and water extract of the inhibition rates were 29.74%, 53.80%, 40.79% and 54.24% (P amp;lt;0.01). Conclusion of different extracts of Hypericum japonicum containing serum can inhibit the secretion of HBeAg and 2215 cells, HBsAg, and can inhibit liver cancer cells BEL-7404 proliferation. The active ingredient in its anti-HBV are mainly distributed in the water extract of Hypericum japonicum, while the active ingredients of anti-liver cancer is evenly distributed in various parts of
