 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 18 Hemodialysis patients aged memory function of Abstract in elderly patients with maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) of memory characteristics. Methods motor memory, verbal fluency test and other indicators to compare 40 MHD patients and 40 age controls (NC) in episodic memory, semantic memory. Results (1) two sets of subjects were age, years of education, ADL was no significant difference in test scores; MMSE test scores significantly different (P lt;0.05). (2) in the imagination of encoding conditions, MHD group, free recall and recognition performance was significantly worse than NC group (P lt;0.01, P lt;0.001); in Action Coding conditions, MHD group, free recall and recognition scores were significantly worse than the NC group (P lt;0.01). When free recall, MHD group memory performance was significantly worse than NC group (P lt;0.01); recognition when, MHD group memory performance was significantly worse than NC group (P lt;0.001). (3) verbal fluency tests, MHD group say “fruit” and “is not an animal on two legs,” the results were significantly worse than NC group (P lt;0.001). Conclusion MHD group episodic memory and semantic memory were significantly worse than the NC group, supporting conditions can improve the memory performance of patients with MHD.
