Methods: 18 alkyl silane bonded silica gel (4.6 mm * 150 mm, 5 μ m) as column, with 0.5% triethanolamine solution (pH adjusted to 2.5 with phosphoric acid): acetonitrile (65:35 v / v) as mobile phase, flow rate of 1.0 mL / min, detection wavelength was 249 nm. Results: promethazine hydrochloride in 22.8 ~ 68.4 μ g / mL (r = 0.9999) within the concentration and peak area showed good linear relationship between the average recovery was 99.97%, RSD 0.45%. Conclusion: This method is simple, rapid, accurate, reproducible and can effectively control the content of promethazine hydrochloride syrup. Methods: The chromatographic conditions were a Hypersil BDS  C18 column (4.6 mm * 150 mm, 5 μ m), 0.5% Triethanolamine (with H3PO4 to adjust pH 2.5): acetonitrile (65:35 v / v) as the mobile phase, a flow rate at 1.0 mL / min and a wavelength of 249 nm used for detection. Results: The peak area of promethazine hydrochloride showed a good linearity in the range of 22.8 ~ 68.4 μ g / mL (r = 0.9999). The average recovery was 99.97%, RSD = 0.45% (n = 6).
