Methods Phenomenex C18 Gemini (250mm * 4.6mm, 5μ m) column, column temperature at room temperature with methanol -0.5% phosphoric acid (50:50) as mobile phase; flow rate of 1.0ml/min; detection wavelength: 280nm. The results of baicalin into the sample volume within the range of 0.501 ~ 2.506μ g peak area showed good linear relationship (r = 0.9999), the average recovery was 99.10%, RSD = 0.50% (n = 5). Conclusion The method is simple and accurate, this product can be used as an effective method of quality control. [Keywords:] HPLC Su Kiyomaru baicalin [Abstract] Objective To establish a HPLC method for the quantitative determination of Baicalin in Suqing pills.Methods The determination was performed on Phenomenex C18 column (250mm * 4.6mm, 5μ m) with the mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.5% phosphoric acid solution ( 50:50) and the column temperature was ambient. The flow rate was 1.0ml/min.The detection wavelength was set at 248nm.Results The method showed a good linear relationship within the range of 0.501 ~ 2.506μ g of Baicalin (r = 0.9999 , n = 5). The average recovery rate was 99.10% with RSD = 0.50% (n = 5). Conclusion The method is simple and accurate and can be used for the quality control of Suqing pills.
