Methods: The sudden onset of acute myocardial infarction sustained ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation in 9 patients in the non-synchronized electrical cardioversion of while intravenous amiodarone 150mg, repeat after ineffective 10min, followed by 0.5 ~ 1.5mg/min intravenous maintain 24 ~ 36h, while oral administration of amiodarone efficacy and side effects were observed. Results: 9 cases in medication within 24h continuous ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation all under control, and 1 had transient sinus bradycardia, no 1 died. Conclusion: The observation that intravenous amiodarone in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction and sustained ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation security effective, can improve the survival rate of acute myocardial infarction.
