Methods 65 rats 1 week after feeding adaptation, randomly selected group of 20 normal, 45 modeling, to streptozotocin-induced diabetic model, after the successful model of 40 rats were randomly divided into model group, Jiaweibugan soup group. 4,8 weeks after treatment, respectively, rats were killed by reverse transcription - polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) measured by the sciatic nerve in the PKC-β Ⅱ mRNA expression. Results After treatment, rats in the model 4,8 PKC -β Ⅱ mRNA expression was significantly higher than control group (P lt;0.05), Jiaweibugan decoction PKC-β Ⅱ mRNA expression was significantly lower than model group (P lt;0.05). Conclusion Jiaweibugan decoction on experimental diabetic peripheral neuropathy has a preventive effect.
