Minimally invasive percutaneous plate fixation of lower limb fracture

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 11 Minimally invasive percutaneous plate fixation of lower limb fracture [Abstract] Objective: To evaluate the minimally invasive percutaneous plate fixation for fracture of lower limb clinical effect. Methods: Minimally invasive percutaneous plate fixation for treatment of lower limb fractures, 65 cases of early postoperative functional exercise. Results: 65 cases were followed up, the time 18 to 24 months, an average of 20 months. Fracture healing time of 8 to 14 weeks, an average of 12 weeks. No fracture delayed union and nonunion, no complications of infection and fixation failure. Conclusions: Minimally invasive percutaneous plate fixation in line with the principles of biological fixation is conducive to fracture healing, is an effective method of treatment of lower limb fractures. [Keywords:] Femoral fixation of tibial fractures using minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis Treatment of Fracture in Lower Extremity Using Minimally Invasive Percutaneous Plate Osteosynthesis Abstract: Objective: To investigate the clinical effects of minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis (MIPPO) in the treatment of fracture in lower extremity. Method: 65 cases of lower extremity fractures, were treated with MIPPO and early recovery movement. Result: All the patients were followed up for 18 ~ 24 months after operation, average 20 months. All the fractures were healed with an average healing time of 12 weeks (8 ~ 14weeks) without delay union and nonunion, no inflammation and internal fixation failure happened. Conclusion: Minimally invasive percutaneous plate osteosynthesis is according with biological osteosynthesis, and with the adwantage of accelerating bone healing, is a safe and effective technique in the treatment of fracture in lower extremity.
