Conclusion nervous accurate positioning navigation system, real-time navigation, will help improve surgery and reduce complications. [Keywords:] neural navigation; brain; surgery [Abstract] Objective To summarize the clinical experience and the value of neuronavigator-guided surgery.Methods 152 cases of intracranial lesions were treated with neuronavigation from April 2002 to December 2004. Results The overall mean fiducial error were 2.14 ± 0.91 mm. Total removal was achieved in 69.1%. Postoperatively neurological functions were improved in 59.5%, unchanged in 32.2%, worsen in 15 cases, shunt surgeries in 5 cases successfully performed, no death.Conclusion Our method is reliable and accurate in neurosurgical procedures. The application of this technique improved surgical outcome and decreased surgical complications.
