Neurosurgical intensive care patients with nosocomial infection related factors and Nursing
[Abstract] Objective: To investigate the analysis of neurological intensive care unit, the incidence of nosocomial infections, pathogens, susceptible position, risk factors, to explore nursing. Methods: 368 cases occurred in patients with nosocomial infection site, causes, pathogens were retrospectively analyzed. Results: The neurosurgical intensive care patients with nosocomial infection rate was 15.76%, occurred in the first part is the lower respiratory tract, followed by urinary tract and upper respiratory tract. Hospital infection and the patient’s age, sex, invasive procedures, hospitalization time, use of antibiotics and other relevant. Conclusion: The strict implementation of aseptic technique operations, strengthening primary care and intensive care unit of environmental management, attention to cross-infection of medical personnel and other measures can reduce the incidence of nosocomial infections in patients.

Neurosurgical intensive care patients with severe illness, immune function is low, more invasive procedures and surgical characteristics of major trauma occurred more chances of nosocomial infections. Moreover, the survey showed neurosurgical cerebral hemorrhage and severe brain injury patients nosocomial infection rate of 15.8% [1], significantly higher than the national average of nosocomial infections in 8% [2]. Therefore, a careful analysis of neurosurgical intensive care patients with nosocomial infection related factors, and to take effective care and prevention measures to minimize nosocomial infections is very important.
1 Materials and methods
1.1 Clinical data
