OSAHS caused by the pathophysiological changes not only affect the quality of life of patients and life, and even lead to severe neuropsychological dysfunction and mental disorders. studies show that depression is most common in patients with OSAHS psychological symptoms (3,4). With in-depth understanding of OSAHS, the psychological health problems has attracted wide attention, this article on the situation of OSAHS depression status were reviewed. 1 OSAHS incidence of depression OSAHS patients currently on the incidence of depression have been many reports, but various reports vary greatly. Most studies show that (5 ~ 9), untreated OSAHS patients and normal control group, depression scores increased with age and gender-matched comparison in patients with simple snoring, OSAHS patients is twice the depression scores (9). Foreign studies have shown that, OSAHS patients with depression was 7% to 63% (10), China 41.7% to 48% ( 5 ~ 7,11). Macza and Dahlof, respectively, according to DSM III R or DSM IV criteria, using structured clinical interviews, found that depression in patients with OSAHS was 23% and 34% (12,13).
