Of insulin on type 2 diabetes mellitus in patients with high-sensitivity C-reactive protein [Abstract] Objective: To investigate insulin in type 2 diabetic patients with serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in effect. Methods: July 2006 ~ August 2007 79 cases of hospitalized patients with type 2 diabetes using insulin therapy before and after treatment of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels. Results: The pre-treatment serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein average of 4.03 ± 4.57 mg / dl, after treatment the average high-sensitivity C-reactive protein 1.99 ± 2.34 mg / dl, after treatment of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels were significantly lower. Conclusion: Insulin significantly decreased serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels, inhibit inflammatory response, and effective prevention of diabetes complications.
