Of massive bone allograft combined BMP2 and TGF β2 middle of the rabbit radial bone defect healing Abstract [Objective] To investigate exogenous TGF  β2 and BMP2 composite allogeneic bone on bone defect healing effect. [Methods] rabbit radial bone defect model, bone defect localized alone or in combination TGF  β2, and BMP2 and allogeneic bone matrix, A Group: allogeneic bone and BMP2 complex; B group (control group): Autologous bone ; C Group: allogeneic bone and TGF  β2 complex; D Group: allogeneic bone and TGF  β2, BMP2 compound; through different time X-ray film, bio-mechanics, callus bone mineral density and bone calcium content of the detection of bone healing defects to assess the situation. [Results] B group callus calcium content of bone defect healing after the mechanical strength and healing much better than A, C, D group (P lt;0.01), D group is better than A, C group (P lt;0.05), C group is better than A group (P lt;0.01). [Conclusion] TGF  β2 and BMP2 in bone defect healing process have played a significant role. In rabbit bone defects around the local application of exogenous TGF  β2, and BMP2 and allogeneic bone matrix, can promote the healing of bone defects, so that callus increased to enhance the mechanical strength after fracture healing. And in fracture healing time close to autogenous bone graft fracture healing time, thus reducing the need for clinical bone grafting in patients with long period of treatment time, reducing the suffering of patients. Alone the role of TGF  β2 stronger than BMP2. Their joint application, to further enhance this role in promoting the healing of bone defects has a synergistic effect.
