Results The effect of different concentrations of paclitaxel liposome 24 ~ 96h, cell viability was significantly decreased (P lt;0.05), microscopic observation showed that some cell shrinkage deformation, collapse of necrosis, cells suspended off the wall, flow cytometry showed that the apoptosis rate increased, cell cycle phase, S phase was reduced . Conclusion Paclitaxel liposome inhibited Ishikawa endometrial cancer cell growth. Methods The human endometrial carcinoma Ishikawa cell line was cultured with different concentrations of the liquid form of liposome encapsulated paclitaxel. MTT assay, inverted microscopic observation and flow cytometry assay (FCM) were then used to monitor the growth and proliferation of the cell line. Results When treated with different concentrations of liposome encapsulated paclitaxel for 24 to 96 hours, Ishikawa cells survival rate decreased significantly (P lt;0.05); degeneration and necrosis of Ishikawa cells were found under microscope. The rate of cell apoptosis was increased and the rate of S phase was reduced. Conclusion Liposome encapsulated paclitaxel can inhibit endometrial carcinoma cells. KEY WORDS: paclit
