 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 29 Pediatric malignant liver tumor in CT and MRI diagnosis - Analysis of 45 Cases 【Abstract】 Objective To investigate pediatric malignant liver tumors in performance characteristics of CT and MRI. Methods A retrospective analysis of 45 cases by clinical, surgical and pathology confirmed malignant liver tumors in CT and MRI manifestations. Male and 24 cases, 21 females, aged minimum 37 days, maximum 14-year-old, with an average age of 2.3 years. 28 routine CT examination, 17 routine MRI examination, all patients underwent plain and enhanced. Results Of the 45 cases, 31 cases of hepatoblastoma (68.8%), hepatocellular carcinoma, 4 cases (8.8%), hepatic undifferentiated embryonal sarcoma in 3 cases (6.6%), hepatobiliary rhabdomyosarcoma in 3 cases (6.6%), Liver lymphoma in 2 cases (4.4%), hepatic vascular endothelial cell sarcoma in 2 cases (4.4%). Tumor in the right lobe of liver in 25 cases, left lobe in 8 cases, while 12 cases involving more than two leaves; single liver tumor in 37 cases, multiple nodules in 6 cases, calcification in vivo tumors in 17 cases, false capsule in 18 cases, tumor uneven density and strengthen different, their degree of enhancement than normal liver tissue (liver vascular endothelial cells sarcoma exception). Conclusion CT and MRI examination can accurately show the location of malignant hepatic tumors, size, scope of infringement, imaging characteristics and transfers for the tumor clinical stage, treatment plan, estimated to provide an important basis for the prognosis.
