Methods in June 1998 ~ August 2004, using the femoral head pith decompression and fibular allograft transplantation for treatment of Ⅰ ~ Ⅲ period of avascular necrosis in 22 cases 39 hips, of which 17 were males and 5 females. Age 22 to 60 years. Preoperative pain, 2 ~ 12 months, an average of 6.5 months. All patients were evaluated before and after 15 d, 3 months and 6 months line pairs of hip joint function, conventional X-ray film, ECT, CT, and MRI examination. Results The patients were followed up 3 to 74 months, an average of 31.4 months. 17 cases of apparent clinical remission, Harris score from preoperative average of 78 points up to postoperative 91.6 points. 18 cases of X-ray showed that the hip joint morphology remained intact, no obvious necrosis progress. ECT, CT, and MRI examinations are carried see signs of bone graft into the bone. There are two cases of four and a half years after the hip was diverted to an artificial full-iliac joint replacement surgery. Another three cases of four iliac symptoms have increased, but not OK artificial joint replacement surgery. Conclusion pith decompression of femoral head allograft bone transplantation in treatment of lung dry period of avascular necrosis, injury and surgery, postoperative joint function 2 to 4 weeks can be restored or exceeded preoperative levels, clinical symptoms improved. Affirmed its short-term efficacy, long-term efficacy remains to be seen.
