PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 14 Prostatic ductal adenocarcinoma 35 cases of basal cell morphological changes in Authors: ZHAO Hong, Ye Ming-fu, WANG Ya-li, Tang Jin-Liang, Chen Rui [Abstract] Objective: To investigate the prostatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA) basal cell lesions characteristic of prostate cancer provide the basis for the pathological diagnosis. Methods: PDA samples collected 35 cases, using light microscopy, immunohistochemistry EliVisionTM Plus two-step, select the 34β E12, P63, P504S, PSA, PSAP antibody to observe the PDA in the absence of basal cells. Results: HE sections in 35 cases of PDA is difficult to determine changes in the basal cells, but immunohistochemistry showed 13 cases of PDA around than the majority of cancer nest the complete basal cell, 3 cases of PDA, only a few remnants of basal cells, 19 cases of basal cell entirely missing PDA; this group of PDA cases, 27 cases of invasive edge of a few small pieces and / or small-acinar carcinoma component in the P504S positive, 34β E12, P63 were negative. Conclusion: This study found that 35 cases of PDA in the basal cell despite the obvious shortcomings, but the remnants of higher rates, suggesting an increasing number of prostate needle biopsies, the basal cell loss is not the most important indicator of the diagnosis of PDA, if the right Basal cell loss expectations too high, can easily result in misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis. METHODS: Thirty  five cases of prostatic duct adenocarcinoma were studied by hematoxylin and eosin staining and immunohistochemical techniques of two  step ElivisionTM Plus method to detect the expression of 34β E12, P63, P504S, PSA and PSAP. And the abscence of basal cells in prostatic duct ade
