Progress in Metabolic Syndrome

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 12 Progress in Metabolic Syndrome Abstract The metabolic syndrome is caused by insulin resistance due to a series of clinical, biochemical, body fluids, a variety of metabolic disorders caused by abnormal metabolism syndrome, its mechanism and IR, obesity and some sugar, lipid metabolism-related factors such as inflammatory factors, genetic factors, and various abnormal changes in risk factors. Keywords: Metabolic syndrome; insulin resistance; obesity; Review Metabolic syndrome (MS) also known as insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome (IRMS), also known as X syndrome, is due to insulin resistance (IR) triggered a series of clinical, biochemical, humoral metabolic disorders, which led to a variety of material metabolism disorders of the syndrome [1  3]. 1 MS etiology and pathogenesis of 1.1 Insulin resistance (IR) IR in the pathogenesis of MS are dominant. Is the hub of the pathogenesis of MS. Congenital and acquired factors can cause IR. Congenital factors include: insulin receptor, glucose transporter protein gene mutation or signals as well as some mutations have not yet been identified; acquired factors include lack of exercise, obesity, overeating, aging, increase in blood free fatty acids and so on. 1.2 Obesity Obesity, especially abdominal obesity and MS, IR is closely related to [4]. At present the view that adipose tissue is the center of energy storage, but also has a powerful endocrine function, it can secrete a variety of protein hormones such as leptin, adiponectin, resistin (Resistin) and numerous cytokines (eg TNF  α, some of IL), vasoactive molecules and lipid components (such as free fatty acids, prostacyclin). In particular, free fatty acid (FFA) in the MS plays an important role in the occurrence. 1.3 Genetic factors and risk factors Some scholars believe that the current prevalence of MS is the most relevant genes (thrifty genes) is no longer du
