 PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 10 Psychological Status of stroke patients and nursing [Abstract]: [Objective] To understand the psychological status of stroke patients in order to take effective care measures. [Method] in January 2006 ~ December 2007 using Zung’s anxiety - Depression Self-Rating Scale (SAS.SDS) of 49 cases of stroke patients to investigate and analyze the findings. [Results] 63.3% of patients have low self-esteem, frustration psychology; 55.1% of patients have irritability, anxiety, psychology; 53.1% of patients have a lonely, abandoned mental; 46.9% of patients have depression, not worry about the psychological; 22.4% in patients dependent manner. [Conclusion] The stroke patients had adverse psychological problems, psychological problems for patients to take psychological care, so that patients actively cooperate with the rehabilitation treatment to a speedy recovery. [Methods] From Jan.2006 to Dec.2007, by use of SAS and SDS, 49 cases of cerebrovascular accident were investigated and the percentage was calculated. [Results] 63.3% of the patients have inferior mentality; 55.1% are nervous and upset, 53.1% feel lonely and abandoned, 46.9% feel anxious and depressed, and 22.4% feel more dependent on others. [Conclusion] The patients with cerebrovascular accident have psychological problems.Psycholgical nursing should be applied, so as to make patients recover soon.
