Methods A retrospective analysis of 31 cases of renal AML clinical data of patients and to explore the CT diagnosis. Results CT examination revealed 26 cases with fat content, which fat content found in conventional thickness of 20 cases, found that thin (regular can not be determined) fat content of 6 cases; CT examination without significant fat content of 5 cases, MRI examination which showed equal signal T1WI, T2WI showed low signal diagnosed with renal AML 2 cases misdiagnosed as renal cell carcinoma in 2 cases, can not be classified in 1 case, the 3 patients intraoperative frozen biopsy of renal AML. concluding CT diagnosis of renal AML is the key to fat density measured in the tumor shadow, for less or no fat fat AML, thin CT scan can improve diagnostic accuracy; CT combined with MRI, B-ultrasound can significantly improve the diagnosis rate; intraoperative frozen biopsy diagnosis have a decisive significance. Methods Clinical data of 31 cases of renal AML were retrospectively analyzed and discussed.Results CT scan confirmed adipose tissue in 26 cases, of which 20 cases were detected by routine slice scan and 6 cases detected by lamellar scan (undetermined by routine slice scan). CT scan revealed absence of evident adipose tissue in 5 cases, of which 2 cases were diagnosed as AML with MRI examination indicating isointensive signal on T1WI and hypointensive signal on T2WI, and 2 cases were misdiagnosed as renal carcinoma, and 1 case was undetermined.
