Retinal ischemia-reperfusion injury in the progress of treatment

PAGE \* MERGEFORMAT 40 Retinal ischemia-reperfusion injury in the progress of treatment Abstract retinal ischemia-reperfusion injury is a common clinical eye disease, occurring mainly in the central retinal artery and vein thrombosis, acute angle-closure glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and other retinal vascular obstruction caused by ischemic eye disease. The performance of eye disease for many patients with ischemic reperfusion in the blood after severe retinal damage, but a further decline in visual function. Retinal ischemia-reperfusion injury is the result of many factors, mainly including the role of oxygen free radical damage, intracellular calcium overload phenomenon and the role of white blood cells and apoptosis and so on. In this paper, domestic and foreign retinal ischemia-reperfusion injury in the progress of treatment are summarized below. 【Key Words】 retinal ischemia-reperfusion injury in treatment of AbstractRetinal ischemia-reperfusion injury is a common oculopathy when retinal arteries become occluded in central retinal artery occlusion, acute angle-closure glaucoma or diabetic retinopathy. The resulting ischemia can cause serious retinal damage and descending visual function. Multiple factors cause retinal ischemia-reperfusion injury , including the injury effect of oxygen-derived free radicals, intracellular calcium overload, the action of leucocyte and apoptosis. The present paper reviews the progression in the treatment of retinal ischemia-reperfusion injury. * KEYWORDS: retinal ischemia-reperfusion injury; treatment; progression 0 Introduction In patients with retinal ischemic ophthalmopathy after the resumption of blood, there was significant dysfunction or even irreversible damage, reperfusion did not alleviate the cell injury, but exacerbated cell death, which is clinical retinal ischemia-reperfusion ( RIR) injury. The damage theory includes: oxygen free radical theory, theory of nitric oxid
