Methods trypsin digestion, separation of rat liver cells in primary culture, ethanol-induced liver cell injury in vitro with different concentrations of SS-d on the liver cell protection, detection medium alanine aminotransferase (ALT) activity and liver cells of malondialdehyde (MDA) content, glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) activity, MTT assay of liver cell viability. The results of SS-d (1.0,2.0,3.0 mg * L-1) significantly improved survival rate of liver cells, inhibit ethanol-induced increase in ALT activity, MDA content in liver cells increased and GSH-px activity were significantly lower in vivo. Conclusion SS-d on ethanol injury in rat liver cells have a protective effect, the mechanism may be related to SS-d scavenging free radicals, inhibit lipid peroxidation of quality effects.
