MethodsThe scanning election microscope (SEM) was used to compare the characters of the original plant leaf lower epidermis of the commercial Flos Lonicera. ResultsThe study shows that there are obvious differences between the leaf lower epidermis characters among 6 commercial Flos Lonicera producing in Sichuan province and Chongqing city under SEM, the key to the plant originals have been compiled according to the characters . ConclusionThe results may provide a scientific reference for identifying the plant origins of the commercial Flos Lonicerae.
