Although people from different areas of the world have different styles of music, we can still understand each other’s music. Without music, what would our lives be like? How much do you know about music? It has been called the first original art form to develop in the USA. Early jazz musicians made money by playing in small bands. Often, jazz musicians made up the music as they were playing. Early jazz came from folk music and later developed into something else of its own.) Do you know any famous jazz musicians? (Louis Armstrong, one of the most famous jazz musicians, was born in New Orleans. He created wonderful jazz music with his trumpet. In addition to playing trumpet, he also sang and danced.
