Methods: The group of 39 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma, 24 cases of chronic nasopharyngitis. After specimens were embedded in paraffin, HE staining confirmed. Skp2 and P27kip1 protein detected by immunohistochemical staining (PV  9000 two-step). Results: (1) Skp2 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma The positive expression rate of 71.79%, significantly higher than that in chronic nasopharyngitis tissues positive expression rate (41.67%), the difference was statistically significant (P lt;0.05) ; P27kip1 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma The positive expression rate of 35.90%, significantly lower than that in chronic nasopharyngitis tissues positive expression rate (79.17%), the difference was statistically significant (P lt;0.01); (2) Skp2, P27kip1 protein expression and clinical staging of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, cranial nerve infringement (P lt;0.05), with age, gender, differentiation, lymph node metastasis (Pgt; 0.05); (3) Skp2, P27kip1 in the nasopharyngeal carcinoma and a negative correlation (rs =- 0.373, P = 0.019). Conclusion: Skp2 protein expression in nasopharyngeal carcinoma P27kip1 protein degradation of the target protein, Skp2, P27kip1 may be related to the occurrence of nasopharyngeal carcinoma development, joint detection of Skp2, P27kip1 protein expression could be used as an indicator of the biological behavior of nasopharyngeal carcinoma . 【Key Words】 Nasopharyngeal cancer cell cycle
