O rlistat 120m g, th ree tmi es per day for a couse of 24 w eeks, w ere given to the 30 cases non - alcoholic fatty liver disease ( NAFLD) patientswhose bodym ass index ( BM I) were bewt een 25 and 32. A fter 24 weeks treatm ent, m ean weightBM I w aist andw aist/ hip ratio(WHR) and b lood pressure was significantly decreased (P 01 001) ; L iver functions (ALTAST GGTTG and Tch) and IR w as significantly decreased (P 01001); The liver density value by CT scan and liver/sp leen ratio by CT scanw as sign ificantly increased (P 01 001) .
