China Abstract: Objective To investigate present situation on psychological capital and job satisfaction for new nurses and provide evidence for nursing managers to improve new nurses nursing ability. Method Investigate 160 newly employed nurses from 3 Class A tertiary general hospitals of 队lingbo on their psychological capital and job satisfaction. Result The total average score of psychological capital for newly employed nurses is (88.87 ::1:: 13.70). Job satisfaction is in generallevel (63.12%). Psychological capital for newly employed nurses has correlation with their satisfaction on managers ability (r= 0.252. PO.0 1). Dimension of optimism from psychological capital has correlation with job satisfaction (r=O. 272. P 0.0 1). Conclusion Job satisfaction for newly employed nurses from Class A tertiary general hospitals is in medium leve l. Psychological capital is above medium level.
