They are still worth exploring - especially those that are still in use and being rediscovered. We have invited Erkki Huhtamo, pioneering media archaeologist, historian, curator and currently a Professor in the Departments of Design Media Arts, and Film, Television, and Digital Media at the University of California, Los Angeles, to tell the story of the early “illusions in motion” he has researched in a public seminar, and to search for the roots of media arts in the master class. 導師Tutor ： Erkki Huhtamo （媒體考古學家、歷史學家、策展人兼美國加洲大學洛磯機分校設計 媒體藝術系及電影、電視、數碼媒體系教授） Erkki Huhtamo is known as a founding figure of media archaeology. He has published extensively on media culture and media arts, lectured worldwide, given stage performances, curated exhibitions, and directed TV programs. He is a professor at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Departments of Design Media Arts, and Film, Television, and Digital Media. His most recent book is Illusions in Motion.
