连词 (一)、并列连词 　　连结彼此并列的词、短语或句子 and 和，并且 or 或者，还是；否则 but 但是 so 因此not only…but also 不但……而且both…and 两者都neither…nor 两者都不either…or 或……或as well as 也 1. Either he or we are going to the concert.  或……或 3.Neither you nor he is the manager of the  hotel. 两者都不 (二)、从属连词(引导从句, 如宾语从句、状语从句) 1、引导状语从句的连词： 1) 时间状语从句；when, before, after, until, till, as soon as, since, while 2) 条件状语从句： if, unless 3) 原因状语从句：because, now that, since, as 4）让步状语从句：though, although 5）目的状语从句：so that 6）结果状语从句：so……that 7）比较状语从句：than, as……as, not so/as……as 2、引导宾语从句的连词：that, if, whether, what, who, whose, which, when, where, why, how, how much, how old, how long, how soon, ect. e.g. 1.If it doesn’t rain next Sunday, we’ll have a barbecue.  假如 引导状语从句 2. I need a place where I can read and write.  那里 引导定语从句 注意：1、有些并列连词与从属连词意思对应但不能同时出现：如if不能与 and同时使用，if…not 不能or同时使用， because不能与so 同时使用， though /although不能与but同时使用。 2、 状语从句中有些连词意义接近，但在句子中位置有区别：until,句首、句中都可以，而 till只用在句中， though句首、句中都可以，而 although只用在句首, beca1use用于句中，或可省略主句，而 now that， since， as只用于句首，且不能省略主句。 3、if, when既可引导 状语从句，又可引导宾语从句： I wonder if it will rain tomorrow
