We use the endocytosis of CdTe/ZnS,core-shellquantumdotstoproducethelightdisplayswithinanA549,epithelial,lungcancercellline,usingtime- lapseimagingwithframeacquisitionevery5minutesovera40hourtimeperiod.Thenanoparticlemovinglightdisplays providesimultaneouscollectionofcellmotilitydata,resolutionofmitotictraversaldynamicsandidentificationoffamilial relationshipsallowingconstructionofmulti-parameterlineagetrees.
