Methodology:Murineobesitymodelsincludedgeneticallyleptin-deficientob/obmiceandwildtype(WT)micefedahigh fatdiet(HFD),thatwerecomparedtotheirleancounterparts.Animalsweretreatedwithpharmacologicalmodulatorsof CB2receptors.Experimentswerealsoperformedinmiceknock-outforCB2receptors(Cnr22/2). PrincipalFindings:InbothHFD-fedWTmiceandob/obmice,Cnr2expressionunderwentamarkedinductioninthestromal vascular fraction of epididymal adipose tissue that correlated with increased fat inflammation.
