Methods:2080IDUswererecruitedfrom5regionsofYunnanProvince,ChinatodetecttheinfectionstatusofHIV,hepatitis Bvirus(HBV)andhepatitisCvirus(HCV).StatisticalanalysiswasperformedtoevaluateriskfactorsrelatedtoHIV,HCVand HBVinfections. Results:Theinfectionratesamongallparticipantswere25.5%forHIV,77.7%forHCV,19.2%forHBV,15%forHIV/HCV,0.3% for HIV/HBV, 7.8% for HCV/HBV and 7.1% for HIV/HCV/HBV. The prevalence of virus infection varied widely by region in YunnanofChina.StatisticalanalysesindicatedthathighprevalenceofHIVandHCVamongIDUswaspositivelyassociated withthedurationofdruginjectionandsharingneedles/syringes;besides,HCVinfectionwasassociatedwiththefrequency ofdruginjection. Conclusions:HIV,HCV,HBVinfectionsandco-infectionswerestillveryprevalentamongIDUsinYunnanprovincebecause ofdrugusebehaviors.
