Thisstudy wasdesignedtodetermine whethersimilar accumulationof Ep-ICDis a commoneventinotherepithelialcancers. MethodologyandResults:TenepithelialcancerswereimmunohistochemicallyanalyzedusingEp-ICDandEpExdomain- specificantibodies.ThesubcellularlocalizationofEpExandEp-ICDinthehumancolonadenocarcinomacelllineCX-1was observedusingimmunofluorescence.NuclearandcytoplasmicEp-ICDexpressionwasincreasedincancersofthebreast(31 of38tissues,82%),prostate(40of49tissues,82%),headandneck(37of57tissues,65%)andesophagus(17of46tissues, 37%)compa
